Lastly, the black-labeled 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon the Core, which is a limited cuve of 156 cases, has a dense, opaque, black/purple color, and gorgeously vibrant, fresh and energized blueberry and blackberry fruit that dances across the palate. This full-bodied stunner is young, but certainly accessible, as most Northern California reds tend to be, but the purity, the richness, the multi-dimensional aspects are all present in this fabulous wine with a great upside. Drink it over the next 25-30 years.
